CT tungsten alloy collimator is precision component designed for X-ray beam control, beam shaping, and scatter suppression in CT (Computed Tomography) equipment. 1. Features of CTIA’s CT Tungsten Alloy Collimator
(1) Effective Shielding: A density of 16.7–18.8 g/cm³ provides good X-ray attenuation, enabling effective shielding with relatively thin structures.
(2) Precise Collimation: Precision-machinable with tight-tolerance slots, collimation apertures, and complex contours to accurately govern X-ray beam width, orientation, and profile.

2. Applications of CTIA’s CT Tungsten Alloy Collimator
(1) Front and Rear Collimation Systems: Used on the X-ray tube side and detector side to control scan slice thickness and beam width while reducing unnecessary irradiation.
(2) Multi-leaf Collimator (MLC): Used in dynamic multi-leaf structures to adjust beam shape and control radiation dose for specific imaging and radiotherapy applications.
(3) Detector Collimator Grids: Used in front of detectors and in ring-shaped collimation components to filter scattered radiation and improve image signal-to-noise ratio.
